1st Aug 1995 till June 2001 Worked as Consultant Neurosurgeon and Head of the Department of Neuro Surgery at Escorts Hospital & Research Centre,Faridabad, HARYANA, INDIA and started Functional Neurosurgery for movement disorders. so far Forty five deep-brain stimulation procedures and forty eight Pallidotomies were performed by me in last three years and this is the largest series of Functional Neurosurgery in INDIA.

International workshop on Leksell Microstereotactic system held at AMC Netherland (May 1998) under supervision of Professor D.A.Bosch

Received training in functional Neurosurgery under supervision of Prof.D.A.Bosch for 3 weeks (May 1998).

Invited as guest speaker in First South Asian Neurosurgical Congress held at Kathmandu Nepal (March 1999) and delivered lecture on “Outcome of Pallidotomy in Parkinson disease.

Worldwide Conference for Pain and Neuromodulation held at San Francisco from 15th August to 21 August 2000 and also attended cadavaric courses on Spinal cord stimulation and head and neck pain.

Worked with Dr.Phil Starr in V.A.Hospital San Francisco from 21st August till 2nd October 2000 and learned the technique of micro electrode recording and stimulation for Movement disorder.

ORGANIZER

Organized a Workshop on Deep Brain Stimulation at Escorts Hospital & Research Centre along with Prof.Lazlo B Tamas, Director Pacific Neuroscience’s Centre California in October 1999.

Organized a workshop with Professor D.A.Bosch, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery AMC Netherland and performed Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery (Subthalamic Electrodes Implantation) with him in Feb.2000 at Escorts Hospital & Research Centre Faridabad, India.
