Every extra pound means more work and more trouble for your muscles. Even the weight loss should be monitored which can be a sign of poor nutrition. 2. Eat a daily diet that has a balance of all four food groups, including two to three servings from the meat group, four to five from the fruit and vegetable group, two to three from the milk group, and at least six from the bread and cereal group. 3. Avoid saturated fats and foods high in cholesterol. 4.
